Hays is working with a large and established regulated company in the Warrington area. The company has been operating in the UK for over 30 years and they support a number of business sectors. The head office is based near Warrington but they do have satellite offices across the UK. The company is well-funded and has an extensive customer base which creates stability and longevity. The work is typically large projects which can last several years. As Management Accountant, you will provide financial support to a range of budget holders. Key responsibilities will include maintaining accounting records in line with group policy, supporting forecasting and budgeting, month-end duties and regular review and reporting. Main responsibilities will include -
- Accounting lead across a range of cost / profit centres.
- Provide accurate and accessible management information for all key stakeholders with a range of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Support the ongoing forecasting and budgeting process within the company.
- Cost control to ensure that all costs are managed and controlled in line with internal control policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounting records for the division covering revenue, costs, assets and liabilities.
- Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
