- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts for various profit centers, quarterly VAT returns, statutory accounts, and annual corporation tax submissions. Produce monthly Board and shareholder reports
- Control and Compliance: Oversee GL accounting, raise necessary journal entries, support external audits, and ensure compliance with VAT and tax processes. Conduct analytical reviews to identify discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy.
- Stakeholder Support: Build strong internal relationships, support Profit Centre Managers and Regional Directors with financial reports and forecasts, and respond to Board queries.
- Team Development: Mentor, train, and support team members as needed.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement, document financial processes, and lead ad-hoc projects to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Acquisitions: Assist in new acquisitions, including management account preparation, controls review, and company format alignment.
- Company Secretarial: Manage statutory filings, including confirmation statements and company information changes.
- Qualifications: Finalist or newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Skills: Logical thinker with high attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for clear stakeholder engagement.
- Technical: Proficient in Excel.
