I am seeking a Practice Accountant to join an established accountancy practice based in Warrington on a part time basis.
This part time, office-based role offers a salary of £45k to £50k (pro rata), with working hours to be discussed due to it being part time.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key member of the business embracing the company’s mission to become the Trusted Adviser to their clients.
Duties:
- Work on client migration projects to online accounting platforms, such as Xero.
- Prepare management and financial accounts, as well as personal and corporation tax returns.
- Supervise and manage a small team, ensuring high technical standards and attention to detail.
- Adopt a problem-solving approach and deliver on promises.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including conducting monthly meetings to assist with management accounts and Xero implementation.
- Provide responsive and high-quality service to meet client needs.
Required Skills:
- ACA or ACCA qualification is ideal but not essential.
- Experience in an accountancy practice, particularly with migrating clients to online accounting platforms like Xero.
- Proven ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns.
- Supervisory or management experience within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
- Professional, supportive, nurturing, and friendly demeanour with colleagues and clients.
