Description
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Participate in financial forecasting and planning
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Assist with annual audit preparations
- Collaborate with team members to understand business operations and strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
