Finance Assistant

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. The global company are experiencing a period of growth. The ideal person would have good AP experience, and the role offers progression with study support included.

Duties:
- Post daily bank transactions for multiple divisions.
- Manage outstanding payments and follow up with suppliers.
- Process batch supplier payment runs on a periodic basis.
- Reconcile supplier statements to Company Creditors Ledgers.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Collect, organise, and maintain financial data accurately.
- Perform regular data entry and updates into financial systems.
- Post expense and credit card claims in line with Company Policy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance assistant role or similar.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, particularly Sage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
