Finance Assistant

My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. The global company are experiencing a period of growth. The ideal person would have good AP experience, and the role offers progression with study support included.

Duties:

  • Post daily bank transactions for multiple divisions.
  • Manage outstanding payments and follow up with suppliers.
  • Process batch supplier payment runs on a periodic basis.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to Company Creditors Ledgers.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
  • Collect, organise, and maintain financial data accurately.
  • Perform regular data entry and updates into financial systems.
  • Post expense and credit card claims in line with Company Policy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a finance assistant role or similar.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, particularly Sage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
