Field Service Engineer Electrical / Instrumentation Home Based UK & Ireland coverage - £40k + overtime + car/car allowance (£5500) + bonus = £60-65k+ package

Samuel Frank is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK & Ireland. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with good electrical & instrumentation knowledge, who is skilled in fault finding on motors, fans, pumps, low voltage instrumentation, control loops, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include:

  • Good electrical knowledge with experience of motors, pumps, fans, low voltage instrumentation & control loops
  • Field Service Engineer must be willing to travel and spend time away from home role could suit a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is willing to travel
  • Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ideally have some PLC fault finding experience not essential
  • Qualified to at least HNC level
  • Flexibility to work weekends
  • Occasionally respond to emergency call-outs and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance
  • x1.5 overtime pay on Saturdays and x2 overtime pay on Sundays.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship & have a full UK driving licence
