Bennett and Game are working with a multi-disciplinary practice specialising in Architectural design, project management and surveying services based in Warrington. As a result of expanding, they are hiring a Project Architect to join their team. Predominately the focus will be working on Commercial and Heritage projects across all RIBA stages. They are offering a competitive package with a salary of up to 46,000 as well as a range of benefits including hybrid working, pension scheme, ongoing training / development and opportunity to progress within the company.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Architect to join a forward thinking practice with a talented team. Our client has over 20 years of experience within the UK architectural industry and has worked with prestigious clients including blue chip retail businesses. You will get the chance to collaborate with other Architectural Technologists, Project Managers and Surveyors. This is a great chance to develop your knowledge and progress within the Commercial and Heritage sector. A good knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD is required as these are the software's used.



Project Architect Job Overview

  • Lead and manage projects from inception through to completion
  • Attend client and design team meetings including site visits and chairing site meetings, as required.
  • Compile and produce drawing packages and layouts using AutoCAD and REVIT software
  • Manage and undertake measured surveys, formulate designs and specifications, administrate projects and programmes
  • Ensure design proposals conform to the latest planning policies, building regulations and technical standards
  • Liaise with external consultants and suppliers, review information provided and coordinate design stage and construction issue drawings and specification packages
  • Take the lead and be responsible to ensure deadlines achieved and managed for delivery of feasibility, tender and construction drawing packages


Project Architect Job Requirements

  • Good knowledge with either Revit or AutoCAD
  • Technical detailing knowledge
  • Full UK driving license
  • Strong experience with planning regulations
  • Effective team working and communication skills
  • Live within a commutable distance of Warrington
  • Commercial or Heritage experience is adventurous
  • Experience across all RIBA stages
  • Registered ARB Architect
