Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded and matched with purchase orders.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger.
- Handle supplier queries, resolve discrepancies, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accounts are up to date.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide support to the finance team and contribute to process improvements.
Profile
About You:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and purchase ledger processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
