Our finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across multiple markets, and we're looking for a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately recorded and matched with purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger.
  • Handle supplier queries, resolve discrepancies, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accounts are up to date.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Provide support to the finance team and contribute to process improvements.

Profile

About You:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and purchase ledger processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
