Location: Warrington (Hybrid Working: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

National Real Estate consultancy is hiring an Associate level Asset Manager (Residential portfolio). A reputable multidisciplinary organisation, they provide an interesting and varied range of job opportunities at all levels with senior leadership providing structured support.
About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Team Lead to oversee our North West region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our team and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in asset management and a passion for leading and developing teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
  • Motivate and inspire team members, fostering a sense of collaboration and accountability.
  • Set clear objectives, define responsibilities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate expectations, set deadlines, and provide regular feedback.
  • Recognise and reward good performance, encourage professional development, and provide training opportunities.
  • Assist with hiring, inducting, training, and continuous monitoring of employees, including managing performance issues.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Client Management:
  • Act as the main contact for clients, ensuring a close working relationship.
  • Build trust, collaboration, and confidence with clients.
  • Provide client updates every other week in day-to-day cases.
  • Assist with client reporting.
  • Portfolio Management:
  • Manage a small portfolio of 50 residential properties, mostly let with a couple being refurbished.
  • Ensure the day-to-day team operations are running smoothly.
  • Provide asset management advice when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in managing residential assets. This is an essential requirement.
  • MRICS or AssocRICS preferred, ARLA/Assoc RICS qualifications considered.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and client management. This is an essential requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
