The job is for an Operations Manager / General Manager to lead a well-run, profitable branch in the events sector, with a salary of up to £65,000 plus bonuses.
Candidates should have proven experience in a management or leadership role overseeing a P&L, and developing strategic business plans.
The role offers autonomy in managing and motivating a team while driving strategic decisions that positively influence the P&L.
Experience in events or event logistics is advantageous, and the position includes benefits such as a company car or cash allowance after probation, private medical cover, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, and the environment is described as non-corporate with a strong team ethic.

As Operations Manager / General Manager, you’ll enjoy autonomy, managing and motivating a team of Project / Operations Managers, and Site Crews whilst driving strategic decisions which positively influence the P&L. What you’ll need

Proven experience in a management/leadership role overseeing a P&L.
Experience in developing strategic / business plans.
Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organisation and leadership skills
Previous experience within events / event logistics would be an advantage.

Other Information

A basic salary of up to 65k + bonus
Company car or cash allowance on passing the probationary period
40hrs per week – Monday to Friday (8 – 5pm)
Private Medical Cover
25 days holiday + bank holidays

This position may suit a General Manager, Operations Manager, Branch Manager, Events Operations Manager, Sales and Operations Manager, or someone who worked in Events or Equipment / Hire Rental Companies
