People Solutions are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Warrington.

Rates of Pay

• Mon - Fri Days: £17.60 per hour basic / Overtime (after 45 hours) £20.95 per hour
• Mon - Fri Nights: £18.46 per hour / Overtime (after 45 hours) £21.81 per hour
• £23.81 per hour Sat and Sun Days
• £24.67 per hour Sat and Sun Nights

Day to Day Duties

• Driving various Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing 3-4 store deliveries per day
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicle
• Adhering to site specific risk assessments
• Provide quality customer service
• Ensure vehicles checks are completed before and after shift
• Report any issues to line manager

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category CE Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• At least one years' Class 1 driving experience
• No More than six points for MINOR offences and no MAJOR endorsements

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving and making store deliveries would be desirable

Training

• You must pass a written and physical driving assessment
• Drug & Alcohol Test must also be passed
• If the above passed, you will receive a full paid Induction
