Indoor Sales Manager

Location: Warrington

Salary: c £45,000 per annum + bonus + benefits (Negotiable - depending on experience)

They are now trusted to provide logistics solutions to some of the best-known companies in the country. They are now seeking an office-based Sales Manager to build, lead and develop the sales team to deliver the Strategic Business Plan objectives for the business.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager the purpose of this role is to:

  • Manage the day-to-day sales plan and growth of the business across its current and future customer-base.
  • Manage and oversee sales / commercial activities undertaken across the business
  • Ensure KPIs for the sales department are met to ensure development and retention of key clients
  • Be responsible for managing the budget for sales & business development activities in line with forecast.
  • Manage staff performance, (including hiring, induction and training for the sales team)
  • Review the sales processes & procedures
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Seek to continually grow turnover and gross profit ensuring Today Team deliver a world class customer service throughout

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achievements relating to delivering profitable sales growth
  • Experience in leading and managing a team (Essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be highly organised, and a self-starter who is confident and enthusiastic, highly resilient and good under pressure.
  • Be able to naturally develop relationships with clients and colleagues, can easily articulate strategy into day-to-day operations who is a positive, energetic team player with a passion for sales, and providing high quality customer service.
