KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Trainer based in the North West of England, offering a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 depending on qualifications.
The position is full-time and permanent, with an excellent benefits package including pension and expenses.
Candidates must have a recognised Assessor award or a Level 3 or above teaching qualification, along with solid occupational experience in a Children's Home.
Experience in delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare is preferred, and applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
A full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility with travel are required for this role.

Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
Hold solid occupational experience at Support Worker level or above within a Children's Home.
Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare (ideally to Level 5, but not essential)
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
