This is an exciting opportunity for a Remediation Engineer seeking their next career step to join a highly established contractor in Warrington. The company specialise in soil remediation and waste management both on site and in treatment facilities, ensuring the highest standard of work is delivered on time and within budget. The successful Remediation Engineer will be involved in a range of remediation projects from beginning to end, based out of the Warrington office and on site. Projects will involve the identification and investigation of, treatment and/or removal of contaminated land and groundwater. Phase 1 studies and report writing will be required and other opportunities for progressing within the sector (including remediation design and geotechnics) may also be provided.
To be considered for the Remediation Engineer position you should:
- Be experienced in the geoenvironmental/geotechnical/waste assessment/remediation industry, with a good foundation of knowledge.
- Be commutable to Warrington.
- Have a relevant degree in geotechnical engineering, earth sciences, environmental management, or similar.
- Have a good understanding of Phase I and Phase II site investigation.
- A full right to work in the UK.
- Hold a UK valid driving licence.
