About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in the water sector, including wastewater treatment works (WWTW), pipelaying, and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee site engineering activities on water sector projects, including WWTW upgrades, pipeline installations, and associated infrastructure.

Conduct setting out, surveying, and quality control to ensure works comply with design specifications and industry standards.

Assist in managing subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including RAMS and CDM requirements.

Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, as-built drawings, and material usage.

Support site management in problem-solving, technical queries, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Assist with planning and coordination of project phases, ensuring timely completion of works.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the water sector, including WWTW, pipelines, and civil infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of setting out using GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment.

Experience working on large-scale water projects, including pipeline networks, pumping stations, and treatment plants.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Understanding of health & safety regulations, including working within live water environments.

CSCS Card (Essential).

SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable).

Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification (Desirable).

Full UK driving licence.
