Job description

General Overview:

A critical and exciting role for a Facilities Management company to deliver its operational and strategic objectives. Working closely with the operational team and client project and asset teams to deliver high levels of lifecycle and project work across the portfolio of buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of PFI projects, ensuring contractual compliance, maximising revenue, and managing costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of company, client and customer expectations regarding all associated contracted activities
  • Commercial interpretation and advice to the CEO; National Ops Manager and Contract Manager and maintenance of the Supply Chain to ensure that commercial and contractual arrangements are back-to-back wherever reasonably practical with partnering agreements.
  • Procuring lifecycle replacement work and variations within the current portfolio
  • Support and handover of new projects to the operational team for delivery, with ongoing contract and financial management of projects during project life.
  • Providing Commercial advice and guidance regarding contractual requirements for both contractual and commercial challenges as well as life cycle work and pre-tender estimate advice.
  • Ownership of the life cycle process ensuring that the contracts adhere to the life cycle process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good working and practical knowledge of PFI contracts and funding arrangements
  • PPP/PFI Experience - preferable
  • Completion of IOSH or NEBOSH training
