Credit Controller

  • Annual Salary: £27k - £28k

  • Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid after probation with two days working from home)

Duties

  • Chasing arrears, agree on payment plans, and work with the Credit Manager to rectify arrears cases.
  • Manage and maintain records of client administration activity, ensuring all data is uploaded onto relevant systems completely, accurately, and in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
  • Complete administrative tasks as necessary during the life of the contract.
  • Compile necessary paperwork for the instruction of agents prior to Credit Manager approving instruction.
  • Liaise with outsourced legal service suppliers during the conduct of legal actions on our behalf.
  • Escalate issues and complaints in a timely manner, in accordance with company processes and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using financial and administrative software.
