I am pleased to be working alongside a market-leading, Birchwood-based client as they look for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team! This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling incoming product queries from customers, by email and telephone. They will take details of any damage or warranty queries and provide first-class customer service, with the aim of resolving queries quickly and to a satisfactory standard!

Benefits:

  • Salary - £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
  • Working Hours – Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4:30pm (1 hour lunch break Monday to Thursday, 30 mins Friday)
  • Holidays – 20 days, rising to 23 days after first year of service, 24 days after second year of service, 25 days after third year of service

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Receive and log customer service queries on to the management system
  • Coordinate with the partner network to ensure service calls are completed
  • Agree rates in line with the company sales structure to ensure minimum cost impacts on the business
  • Coordinate the P/O / credit of any replacement parts with the supplier / service provider
  • Maintaining and managing daily service calls including damages and product failures
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner and re-direct to the required person or department

Specification:

  • Previous experience within a customer service role is essential
  • Experience using SAP or a similar operating system is preferred
  • A confident and competent user of MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel
  • A calm and confident individual
