My client, a leading supply chain and logistics company, are looking for a dedicated and conscientious Customer Service Advisor to join their rapidly growing team. They are based in Westbrook, Warrington and are recruiting on a full-time, permanent basis.

Benefits:

  • Working Hours – 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. 1 in 4 Saturdays with working hours of 9am to 5pm

Role Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an exemplary customer service to customers, ensuring they are accurately and promptly updated on their orders and any delays or issues reported. They will be responsible for accurately updating the CRM system, as well as booking in follow up contact with customers. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prompt actioning of customer emails, ensuring they are updated accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure the CRM system is accurately updated to reflect conversations with customers, and any changes to their information
  • Real-time tracking of orders with any issues or delays reported promptly to the relevant department/stakeholder
  • Booking and tracking of collections of orders
  • Escalation of any issues to the customer services manager in a timely manner and as to avoid any further issues

Specification:

  • Previous experience within a customer service role is essential
  • Previous experience within logistics/supply chain is desirable
  • A calm and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to problem-solve under pressure
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal
