Customer Service Advisor – Domestic Sales & Service Team

Our client, a prominent distributor of fuel and lubricants, is looking for proactive Customer Service Advisors to join their Domestic Sales & Service team at their headquarters in Warrington, Cheshire. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and maximize sales opportunities, with the potential to become a permanent role.

Key Information• Location: Warrington, Cheshire (WA3 6GR) • Salary: £24,500 (pro-rated) with bonus opportunity of up to £400 per month • Contract Type: 6-month contract (with possible permanent opportunity) • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (either 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm) 2 in 4 Saturday mornings, with a half day off in lieu.

Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll focus on: • Providing an outstanding customer experience while maximizing sales opportunities and supporting customer satisfaction. • Managing inbound contacts across various channels (calls, emails, web chats), and maintaining positive relationships with domestic customers. • Promoting and upselling additional products and services in response to customer needs (NO COLD CALLING – inbound calls only). • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate ProfileWe are seeking candidates with: • Contact centre experience or face to face customer service/sales experience (e.g. retail or hospitality). • Strong self-confidence, motivation, and time management skills. • Resilience, persistence, and a target-driven mindset. • Ability to build rapport and handle customer objections assertively, with empathy and excellent listening skills. • Effective verbal communication abilities and competency in Maths and English (required).
