An exciting opportunity to join a leading logistics and supply chain business as a SAP Finance Systems & Master Data Manager as they roll out an SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.

Client Details

My client is a leading logistics and supply chain business. They are currently going through an exciting transformation journey and are searching for a Finance Systems & Master Data Manager to support with the roll out of SAP S/4HANA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for master data management and driving success within SAP S/4HANA finance systems.

Description

  • Ensuring a robust process for data management including associated tables & integrations.
  • Maintaining the integrity of data structure in accordance with governance principles to ensure optimal system & process performance, minimising corrective activities.
  • The point of contact for Finance configuration or master data following first line triage.
  • Actioning trouble shooting and resolving requests allocated by triage first line in accordance with defined service levels.
  • Responsible for the assignment of user access in accordance with the Segregation of Duties policy.
  • Responsible for the management of period end routines including batch job scheduling, integrations, and ledger close.
  • Support annual audit and reporting procedures and produce various regular and ad hoc data extractions / reports.
  • Responsible for identifying the opportunities to enhance business performance, straight through processing and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor future releases and coordinate adoption, testing & internal training requirements.
  • Responsible for managing all upgrade test procedures and coordination of relevant resource.

Profile

  • Strong self-starter, able to work independently and as part of an integrated team.
  • Clear organization skills and ability to articulate complex issues concisely. Technical Skills
  • You will ideally have a professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or similar)
  • Solid foundation in ERP platforms and maintenance together with data management/analytics
  • SAP S4 Hana experience would be an advantage
