This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a lovely Warrington based school, who have an amazing opportunty for a passionate and committed 1:1 TA to join their team.

You will have the privilege of working on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEN. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide key support for the class Teacher as well as becoming a fundamental day to day support for the child.

You will work as a 1:1 TA in this wonderful school for a full academic year but that's not where it ends. Effective performance across that year will open up further opportunities that can only come about when you've proved yourself to be an intergal part of the team. That may be in the form of a longer term / perm role with the school, CPD/further training and ultimately role fullfillment and career progression.

In this role as a 1:1 TA, strong collaboration with fellow staff members is vital. It is important that you are able to adapt activities to cater to the diverse learning styles and individual requirements of the student you will be supporting. Effective communication is key, as you will interact with children, parents, and colleagues on a regular basis. Building positive relationships with both students and colleagues is crucial in order to foster progress and achievement among the children you work with. Furthermore, a positive approach to managing children's behaviour is highly regarded within the school community and is seen as key for the 1:1 TA.

A Level 3 or equivalent qualification would be ideal but your enthusiasm and passion is key. For those who don't have a relevant qualification, relevant experience will be considered for this 1:1 TA role.
