Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Full-time opportunity, April 2025 to July 2025 | Warrington, WA1

Tradewind Education supplies staff for the SEN Schools in Warrington and they need help securing a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start on April 22nd.

The SEN School is happy to accept applications from those with strong transferable skills, including Support Workers, Carers, Health Care Assistants and mainstream Teaching Assistants.

The role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant is to provide whole class support, meeting their personal, social and academic needs.You will provide tailored assistance to students with diverse needs, such as physical disabilities, sensory impairments, speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties or those with behavioural concerns.

What you need:

  • Experience with SEN, learning difficulties or physical disabilities
  • Full-time availability from April 2025
  • A willingness to obtain a Child Workforce DBS
