Due to unprecedented demand, Hays is looking to increase our number of supply teaching assistants to work on a supply and ad-hoc basis in our partnership schools in the Warrington area.Your new roleAt Hays, you will be joining a large supportive team of like-minded professionals with the added benefit of being able to pick your own availability and work in one of a number of schools of your choosing. Your duties will typically include:
- Working with a classroom between EYFS - KS2
- Following the instruction of the class teacher
- Offering intervention and booster sessions in core subjects including Maths and English
- Phonics sessions and assessments on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Implementing positive behaviour strategies including Brain Breaks, DOJO and positive reinforcement
- Promoting inclusion and accessibility within the classroom
- Break and lunchtime responsibilities
- General classroom management
- General behaviour management
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application you must have full "Right to Work" as well as:
- Referenceable experience supporting children and young people
- Experience delivering intervention and booster sessions
