Temporary Finance Analyst - Temp - Perm contract

£30,000 equivalent

South Warrington (Hybrid)

I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of our most longstanding clients, a specialist service organisation based in South Warrington.

Due to continued growth and a predicted busy period, they are in need of a temporary Finance Analyst to join the team -ideally on a temp-perm basis. This will be a fast-paced, varied role.

You will be joining a brilliant finance team - award-winning and longstanding.

Specific duties:

  • Producing a variety of Revenue and cost reports that are used to produce weekly and monthly figures.
  • Analysing the data to understand variances and work with the operational accountant to identify risks & opportunities to improve financial results.
  • Producing accurate and detailed weekly finance reports and set of accounts.
  • Use a detailed set of KPI's as business performance driver to improve the performance of the business.
  • Reporting on revenue and cost trends and variances to support operations.
  • Undertake nominal ledger tasks including processing of journals, nominal ledger cross-charges and period end reconciliations.
  • To liaise with other departments as required ensuring the reporting deadlines of the organisation are met.
  • Ensure financial controls are in place to make sure interim and year-end financial accounts are accurate, working with external auditors in a professional manner when required.
  • To provide support in a number of general, non-specific areas to maintain the success of the business and on ad-hoc projects as they arise.

What we need from you:

  • Studying towards AAT or other similar accounting qualification
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Practical experience of financial analysis and reporting
