- Accounts Payable Team Leader
Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively partnering with an incredible Client based in Warrington, who are on the look out to add a Team Leader to their large, talented AP Team.If you have proven experience in leading a Finance Team (Ideally within AP), a passion for AP with at least 5 years experience, and would like to join one of the North West's fastest growing businesses, then this is a role you certainly do not want to miss out on!Reporting into their inspirational Head of Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for leading a team of AP Assistants and will be dedicated to motivate your team and be instrumental with their development for potential future progression.Duties will include:- - Lead a team of AP Assistants, and Senior AP Assistants monitoring & hitting agreed KPI’s
- Mentoring AP team to ready them for potential future progression
- Deal with large scale queries on key supplier accounts to ensure relationships are maintained
- Develop relationship with key suppliers through regular communications
- Conduct monthly team 1-2- 1’s
- Continuously develop and improve processes and ways of working
- Support a team of AP Assistants with training and query management
- Be a key contact point for other departments for AP related queries
- Support the Head of Accounts Payable with planning & implementation of departmental projects
- Maintain a high standard of work adhering to all regulatory legislation
- Support the Head of Accounts Payable in staff interview, selection, training etc.
- Other duties as necessary
This role is perfect for a Team Leader, who thrives on building relationships and who loves to support their team to deliver a first class service! To be considered for the role you will have the following:- - Experience as a Team Leader for 3+ years in a previous position (ideally within AP) is essential
- Experience working in an Accounts Payable department for 5+ years is preferred
- Previous experience within a finance department in another role would be considered
