Accountable Executive are delighted to be partnering with a unique entrepreneurial manufacturing business as they seek to appoint an experienced Finance Director to take them through a period of fast growth and expansion.

Based in Warrington you will be setting up the finance team and systems, whilst being a key partner to the business owners, as they embark upon this exciting period of growth in their business lifecycle.

Salary/benefits:

  • £120-140k
  • Long term bonus plan and a range of benefits

Job Duties:

  • Lead on the financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cost control to maximise profitability.
  • Manage banking and funding relationships
  • Ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and manage internal controls and risk management strategies.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making across the business.
  • Build, manage and mentor a small finance team.

Ideal experience

  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous operational/manufacturing/FMCG type experience
