As the No. 1 in Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, corporate finance, and financial operations within the SME. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and senior leadership team, ensuring that the company achieves financial stability, growth, and compliance with regulatory standards.
In this role, you'll be deeply involved in shaping the company's financial strategy, leading budgeting processes, and ensuring effective cost control. You'll oversee all aspects of financial reporting and analysis, providing insights that drive informed decision-making. Managing cash flow and treasury operations will be key, as will ensuring strong risk management practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
You'll also focus on optimising and upgrading financial systems and processes to improve efficiency across the organisation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with investors and stakeholders will be a core part of your role, ensuring transparency and trust as the company grows.
What you'll need
At least 3- 5 years within a similar role, ideally within an SME or startup environment.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash management.
Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
