Head of Business Resources - Warrington - £60,000

We are currently working with a respected charity to recruit an experienced Head of Business Resources. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a vital part in supporting the charity’s mission through effective financial management, operational oversight, and strategic decision-making.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take responsibility for ensuring the charity’s financial resources and IT provision are managed effectively to support its strategic aims. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Board of Trustees, and Governing Body, providing expert guidance and contributing to high-level business decisions.

A key part of the role will involve developing and maintaining a medium-term strategic financial plan that aligns with the charity’s broader strategic objectives. You will oversee payroll services, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and regularly review service contracts and agreements to secure value for money and maintain high standards.

IT and operational efficiency will also be central to your remit. You will be responsible for managing the charity’s IT resources, introducing emerging technologies where appropriate to improve organisational performance. Additionally, you will oversee the ongoing management of the charity’s premises, conducting regular site inspections and ensuring the continued availability of utilities and site services to support day-to-day operations.

This role demands a confident and strategic business professional with a proven track record in financial management, operational leadership, and driving organisational efficiency. You will need strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and provide valuable input into strategic decision-making.
