Your new firmThis long-standing, market leading, independent practice with a north-west presence is seeking to appoint a new accounts Semi-Senior into their Warrington office. Overall, this is a fantastic choice for a candidate seeking a firm that is passionate about its people, prioritising ED&I to create an inclusive workforce, as well as promoting your professional development due to the company's strong training environment and focus on promoting from within.Your new roleIn your accounts Semi-Senior job role, you will be responsible for the preparation of year-end accounts (in accordance with FRS102a and FRS105) for a range of sole traders, limited companies and partnerships, as well as some monthly management accounts. Day-to-day duties will also include completing corporate, personal and partnership tax returns, ensuring senior managers are continually informed about progress. Your job role also requires you to carry out the preparation VAT return as well as bookkeeping when needed, whilst reporting into seniors/managers alongside your study. What you'll need to succeedThe firm is seeking a professional semi-senior who possesses strong previous experience within practice. Ideally you will have strong experience with preparing statutory accounts (both from TB and incomplete records) as well as some exposure to management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT. Strong IT skills are highly desired, specifically with Xero, Sage, Excel, Quickbooks (and other accounting/tax software) as well as the role being client facing, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and develop professional relationships is essential for the role.What you'll get in returnThis Warrington based accounts Semi-Senior job role is an excellent opportunity to join accountancy firm that will directly benefit your professional development through a comprehensive collection of training and employee assistance programmes, to support your ACA / ACCA studies (which will be covered by the company).
