Location: Birchwood, WarringtonJob Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm - early finish on a Friday!Salary: Dependent on candidate skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
- Ensure the accurate placement of goods in designated areas, keeping our operations running smoothly.
- Conduct daily checks and maintenance on the forklift to keep it in tip-top shape.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control to maintain optimal organisation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and efficient warehouse environment.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Supervisor promptly.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid FLT Counterbalance licence with hands-on experience operating a 5-tonne forklift.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations to keep yourself and others safe.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to excel in a busy environment.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials to ensure quality work.
- Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy loads.
