We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with expertise in operating a Counterbalance Forklift with a capacity of up to 5 tonnes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Ensure the accurate placement of goods in designated areas, keeping our operations running smoothly.
  • Conduct daily checks and maintenance on the forklift to keep it in tip-top shape.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control to maintain optimal organisation.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Supervisor promptly.

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid FLT Counterbalance licence with hands-on experience operating a 5-tonne forklift.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations to keep yourself and others safe.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to excel in a busy environment.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials to ensure quality work.
  • Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy loads.
