We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to support nuclear projects across the UK, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and developing safety cases for various projects, including new builds and decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop safety cases and conduct hazard assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA).
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support safety assurance activities and regulatory engagement.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to safety management improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Experience in nuclear safety engineering and UK regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment, ALARP principles, and safety analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status is desirable; security clearance may be required.
