We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 9 student with special educational needs on a 1-1 basis.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH, autism, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties.
The role involves collaborating with teachers, creating engaging learning activities, and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are desirable, but not essential; excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are required.
The position is a temp to perm contract lasting 12 months, with a salary of $30,000 per year and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of SEMH and specifically complex attachement, ASC , ADHD and behavioural difficulties. This role offered is an ongoing post suporting a student (year 9) on a 1-1 basis.

Duties
- Assist in educating and supporting individuals with autism and other special educational needs
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
-- Collaborate with the class teacher to create engaging learning activities
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for the student
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment

Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are desirable but not essential
