IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT support specialist to join our managed service team in Birchwood, Warrington. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring workstations, servers, network equipment, and cloud solutions. You will support clients both remotely and onsite across the Northwest, liaising with senior staff and end-users.

Required Skills:

  • Active Directory (On-premise & Entra)
  • Cloud - Microsoft 365 / Azure / Intune
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Windows Server - DHCP / DNS / IIS / GPO / WSUS / WDS
  • Windows 10 / 11
  • macOS
  • VMware / Hyper-V
  • Provisioning network devices, configuring firewalls, switches, and routers
  • VOIP systems
  • Managing backups
  • Patch management for 3rd party software
  • Reviewing support tickets and managing through to resolution (ITIL Framework)
  • Maintaining security, performance controls, and compliance

Advantageous Skills:

  • Strong networking skills
  • Knowledge of passive optical network technologies (GPON/XGS-PON)
  • Knowledge of Unifi, Fortinet, and Aruba networking equipment

This office-based role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
