Enterprise Solution Architect

We are seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect (Field) to focus on architecting the technical infrastructure and applications across our entire technology estate. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our domain architecture aligns with the evolving needs of the business, particularly as we become more reliant on resilient digital services to deliver outstanding customer and employee experiences.

• AWS, AZURE certifications.
• Understanding of both IT and OT Domains.
• Significant experience in the definition of Infrastructure artifacts such as architectural models, roadmaps, strategies, principles, standards, and patterns.
• Broad infrastructure architecture experience across diverse technology environments, including on-premises data centers and cloud environments.
• Demonstrable experience with open stack, private cloud, public cloud, virtualization, and containerization.
• Experience with cloud vendor products (Google, AWS, or Azure) and cloud-based deployment options for SAP and other enterprise software.
• Proven leadership in technology and architecture for significant projects.
• Experience applying and governing architecture implementation across various software delivery lifecycles.
• Knowledge of formal Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachmann).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Maintain a continual awareness of deployment best practices and technical requirements to guide investment in technology components.
• Lead the definition of architectural artefacts that describe current, future, and transition states of the infrastructure, ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
• Oversee implementation of the architecture, making critical decisions promptly to align with plans or manage deviations, while documenting and tracking technical debt.
• Provide ongoing support to technical and business areas dependent on the solution capability, steering technology users to the most appropriate patterns and solutions.
• Assess the financial and technical impact of changes and agree on an architecture investment strategy to accelerate the transition from current to target architecture.
• Lead the definition of standards, patterns, and other architectural artefacts that guide the implementation of the Domain Architecture.
• Engage key business stakeholders to identify and recommend business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities that drive business strategy.
• Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing architecture.
• Provide consultancy on strategic initiatives, ensuring technology implementations and purchases are aligned with the enterprise architecture strategy.
