Our welcoming and dynamic secondary school in Warington is seeking a full-time ICT technician to join our team immediately! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a school environment and contribute to the hands-on development of students' technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers and staff with any technical issues and equipment for lessons.
  • Support students during lessons, ensuring safety and guidance in using machinery and tools.
  • Maintain and monitor IT equipment and machinery, ensuring it is safe and operational..
  • Carry out routine checks, maintenance, and cleaning of workshop tools and machinery.
  • Ensure all tech complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Help with creating an inspiring and organised learning environment.
Requirements:
  • A keen interest in ICT with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of IT equiptment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and support teaching staff and students effectively.
  • Previous experience as a ITechnician is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service is required or willingness to obtain one before starting.
