We are seeking a Change and Transformation Manager for a 6-month contract to facilitate the creation of change plans for key strategic initiatives, supporting portfolio transformation plans. This role is crucial in providing a comprehensive view of the impacts to people, processes, data, and systems, ensuring that change activities are meticulously planned to support the delivery and sustainability of changes, and ensuring that the business is ready for these changes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Create business change approaches and plans to support key transformation changes.
  • Utilise the Plan, Prepare, Implement & Sustain Methodology to manage key change activities including Change Impact Assessment, Change Team Identification (SME’s, BL’s, Training & Comms resources), and Stakeholder Mapping.
  • Ensure Training and Communication Plans are in place with appropriate resources to deliver.
  • Develop and implement a Change Support Framework and Go Live Model.
  • Identify Critical Success Factors and ensure a Benefits Realisation strategy is in place.
  • Manage business readiness activities for initiatives moving at different speeds affecting the same teams to ensure integrated changes from the end-user perspective.
  • Work as part of a matrix team with Business Leads, SMEs, and Senior Leaders to ensure requirements are factored into the change plan and associated solutions.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and expert change knowledge into projects and task teams, acting as the business readiness guiding mind.
  • Lead a matrix team of SMEs, BAs, end users, and technical delivery teams to develop new ways of working and business processes.
  • Engage with front line field and central operation teams to ensure their “voice” is considered throughout the change process, from start to end.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading change and transformation initiatives within a complex organisational structure.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess potential improvements and implement new ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across various teams and with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and benefits realisation.
  • Familiarity with Plan, Prepare, Implement & Sustain Methodology.
  • Ability to lead and manage matrix teams effectively.
