With over 25 years of heritage in the tech sector, the company is experiencing rapid growth in both its ecommerce and B2B channels and has ambitious plans for future expansion.About the RoleAs the Email, Content, and Merchandising Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping meaningful customer journeys, crafting compelling content, and optimising on-site merchandising to drive business success. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketer with strong copywriting and content experience, who also understands the importance of effective merchandising in the ecommerce landscape.This role goes beyond sending out weekly emails—you’ll help design customer lifecycle programs, implement dynamic automated campaigns, and create content that engages, informs, and converts customers. Additionally, you’ll play a hands-on role in merchandising products to optimise visibility and sales performance.If you’re passionate about email CRM, content creation, and merchandising, and have a strong creative and data-driven mindset, this role offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Copywriting (50%)
  • Create engaging content for product pages, blogs, email campaigns, and social media to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Write SEO-optimised copy that enhances organic visibility and brand positioning.
  • Develop content to support promotional campaigns, product launches, and loyalty initiatives such as refer-a-friend and rewards programs.
  • Highlight customer success stories, product launches, and unique builds through creative storytelling.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce video materials and support visual content creation.
Merchandising & Ecommerce Optimisation (30%)
  • Oversee on-site merchandising using the CMS, ensuring products are effectively displayed and campaigns are optimised for conversion.
  • Partner with the CRO team to improve customer journeys and increase attach rates.
  • Analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics and make data-informed recommendations for merchandising improvements.
  • Work with the trading team to manage supplier-funded content and measure its impact.
Email CRM (20%)
  • Lead the CRM program, focusing on automation and triggered email campaigns to support scalable growth.
  • Develop behavioural, lifecycle, and RFM-based email programs to maximise daily sales and repeat purchases.
  • Collaborate with data and product teams to identify buying patterns and create targeted, data-driven email campaigns.
  • Manage operational and customer satisfaction emails, maintaining consistency with the brand voice and messaging.
  • Deliver ongoing performance reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions.
What Experience Should You Have?
  • Essential: Proven experience in B2C ecommerce, with a strong focus on content marketing and merchandising.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging, conversion-focused content.
  • Experience in using data and analytics to optimise campaigns and site performance.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and their application in content creation.
  • Previous experience in merchandising or ecommerce site management is a significant advantage.
