We are seeking a talented Principal Mechanical Engineers for a contract position (INSIDE IR35) based in Warrington and in Preston , United Kingdom. The roles offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and drive forward engineering solutions in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design and analysis efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee the development and implementation of mechanical systems from concept through to completion.
Skills and Experience:
People need to demonstrate experience with:
- Mechanical handling experience e.g cranes, bogeys, conveyors, lifting equipment, ROVs, remote operating vehicles.
- bespoke cutting equipment (eg diamond wire cutters)
- Knowledge of CAD tools and General Engineering Drawing Practice.
- Ability to build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience leading a team.
- Nuclear experience is not a necessity, we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds.
Qualifications for the Principal Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Holds or has the ability to obtain Chartered status.
