Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Days) - Requirements

City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent
1-2 years experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably in a top-tier COMAH plant or speciality chemical manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and environmental compliance requirements.

Knowledge of UK Legislation (particularly CDM, HSWA)

Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Days) - Responsibilities

Proactive scheduled maintenance to minimise the reactive maintenance, undertaking maintenance projects from initiation to completion, overseen by your supervisor.
Escalate problems quickly to the Engineering Manager
Work throughout project & asset lifecycle from front end, detailed design and system verification, validation and maintenance
Requesting the correct documentation and data required for the site maintenance system and compliance to site standards
You may be responsible for overseeing contractors on site
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
