Our client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit a Workshop Assembler to join their busy finishing team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, quality and functionality of electronic/electrical products as well as cutting and assembling of various wooden structures.

As a Workshop Assembler your duties will be:

  • Work with electrical components in the wiring and soldering of complete assemblies.
  • Operate power tools for specific assembly tasks.
  • Assisting with the crafting of soft play centres.
  • Use of hand tools and jigsaw.
  • Operating woodworking machines.
  • Cut and assemble wooden components for structure.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials and finished products.

The successful Workshop Assembler will have the following skills:

  • Previous experience in timber product manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate power tools.
  • Electrical aptitude for accurate component assembly.
  • Some experience in electronics would be required.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Work well as part of team.
