The successful Mechanical Development Engineer will be tasked with customer liaison, site visits, putting together proposals, investigating failures, detailed analysis, project management, delegating tasks and delivering bespoke solutions to customers.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior-to-Principal level Engineer with strong theoretical and practical experience relating to tribology - e.g. gears, bearings, mechanisms, lubrication etc. Excellent communication skills are also required. Mechanical Development Engineerrequirements:
- Degree level minimum in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (or similar)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Failure analysis / Forensic engineering
- RCA / FMEA
- Excellent knowledge of tribological components bearings, gears, lubrication etc.
