We are looking to recruit an RMNMental Health Nurseto join a community mental health team inWarrington. This role involves providing high-quality care to individuals with diverse mental health conditions, fostering therapeutic relationships, and working collaboratively with a range of professionals. You will work in the community assisting with patient transfers and providing clinical assessment.

With an hourly rate of £25 plus £2 enhancement for nights and weekends,this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment. The role is full time working 37.5 hour per week.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will:
  • Provide care and manage symptoms for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Patients transfers from hospital to home, home to hospitals
  • Build therapeutic relationships and offer crisis intervention.
  • Liaise with doctors, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Interact with patients' families, offering advice and information.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, care plans, and risk assessments.
  • Lead a staff team during patient conveyance or therapeutic observational service.
  • Assist in policy compliance and attend necessary training and meetings.
  • To provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during a transfer.

The ideal Community Mental Health Nurse will have:
  • A current valid NMC Pin - RMN
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Teamwork skills and good time management
  • A full UK Driving License (no provisional licenses)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum 3 years UK employment history
  • Previous experience working in a mental health hospital, specialist service, or community role
