Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute Therapy Services team at Warrington Hospital. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services to patients across various acute settings, ensuring optimal recovery and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans for patients in acute care settings.
- Provide interventions to address physical, functional, and cognitive needs, supporting rehabilitation and recovery.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and ensure timely discharge planning.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
- Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, promoting independence and quality of life.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 6 months NHS experience in acute therapy services.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering patient-centered care.
