Location:Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA53LP

Working Hours: 7-3 or 8-4, Monday to Friday (alternating shifts)

Pay rate:£16.54 per hour

Contract: Temporary 12 month contract with potential permanent opportunities

Start date: ASAP

Job Purpose:

You will need to respond quickly and appropriately to field force problems in accordance with company policies and procedures, preserving flexibility of field resources across areas, to ensure SLA adherence. You will also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and tracking progress of all work released to Click schedule
  • Escalating and resolving conflicts where Click schedule is unable to allocate work an appropriate resource
  • Manually scheduling work or overriding Click schedules where appropriate to ensure work is executed in line with business rules and/or business priorities.
  • Identifying incidents and responding to them swiftly and appropriately.
  • Making the best use of the limited field resources available to ensure work is completed to SLA's
  • Supporting area teams in unfamiliar geographic areas.
  • Managing any conflicts that arise around job priorities and determining when issues require escalation through to the Production Managers.
  • Influencing team members who may not wish to do jobs allocated to them, and handling any potential conflict between themselves and others where there is dissatisfaction over allocated work.

Knowledge and Skills

To be considered for this role you will need a thorough understanding of the Water and Wastewater processes to a level that will enable sensible interactions with operations staff. Along with an understanding of company policy and procedures. You will need to understand the lifecycle of a Work Order and how Work Orders should be generated and completed. In addition you will need:

  • Proficiency on the scheduling applications and systems used and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent, effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with good interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • The ability to influence and facilitate changes.
  • Must be a good team player who also has the ability to work independently.
  • Able to operate under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience using SAP applications - SAP Core / Click Schedule.
  • Understanding of water and wastewater operations and maintenance processes.
