The Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work across Haydock. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for our students. You will work across various classes and need to be adaptable, proactive, and passionate about education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess student's progress, providing feedback and reporting to the teacher.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the planning and implementation of interventions for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student needs.

What We Are Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • A passion for helping children achieve their potential.
  • Experience working with SEN children

Candidates will need to provide the following documents to be considered for the role:

  • Documents proving the candidate has the Right To Work in the UK
  • DBS
  • OPC (if applicable)
  • CV, covering last 10 years of employment (minimum).
