My client are a specialist cladding and facades contractor who work on a number of large projects across the North of England. They supply and install a wide range of cladding and faade systems on major high rise schemes and mixed use developments.

They are one of the fastest-growing facades contractors in the UK, having secured several prestigious projects.

They are now seeking an ambitious and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with the senior commercial team, offering you an ideal platform to grow and excel in your career.

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your role will include:

  • Working on a range of large facades projects, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Assisting with reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Helping to evaluate, price, negotiate, and finalise budgets and costs for project scope changes.
  • Aiding in developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
  • Assisting in CVR reporting.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience within the construction industry
  • Degree qualified in quantity surveying/or similar (HNC, etc)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent work ethic
