About the Role:
In this role, you'll be involved in a wide range of projects, from new builds to renovations and extensions, with project values ranging from 25k to 3 million. You'll manage costs from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator:
- Review architectural plans to prepare accurate quantity estimates.
- Calculate material, labour, and construction equipment costs.
- Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project progress and adjust budgets as needed.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction meets specifications.
- Manage payments, invoices, and contract compliance.
- Provide financial reports and forecast project completion timelines.
