Job Title:Quantity Surveyor
Location:Warrington (North West Region)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor, your primary duties will include:

  • Obtaining and evaluating information to ensure realistic cost estimates for works, goods, materials, and services across multiple projects/contracts.
  • Managing the commercial relationship with clients.
  • Producing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion, ensuring alignment with budgets, and reporting any changes that may impact costs or timelines.
  • Reviewing contract conditions prior to project commencement, identifying risks, and communicating key terms to the project delivery team.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Welfare, and Legal requirements, maintaining quality standards.
  • Managing client/customer care requirements to ensure satisfaction.
  • Advising, formulating, and submitting claims for loss and expense.
  • Conducting commercial evaluations of completed projects.

Person Specification:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
  • A detailed understanding of contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and numeracy skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
